“With the recent gorge fires, my interest was peaked in regard to our water sources and water safety. When a Board position opened on the Rockwood Water PUD, I thought it would be a good opportunity to become involved, as water quality and safety impact everyone in the community. My husband and I have lived in the Rockwood area for the past 40 years. Learning to balance career, marriage, adult children and grandkids requires that I do not become rigid in my thinking. After a career of 31 years in banking, I became a licensed counselor in Oregon/Washington in 2008. I considers myself a life-long learner and an active listener. It is my honor to represent my neighbors in Subdistrict 3.”
